The Future of European Nanotechnology

Between December 9th and 12th the conference EuroNanoForum 2003 was held in Trieste, Italy and gathered more than a 1000 participants from the scientific community, EU policy makers and private industry. One of the main organizers was the EU Commission.

The intention of the conference was to discuss the state of European nanotechnological research, to assess its present state and what direction it should take.

EuroNanoForum 2003 also discussed policy issues regarding nanotechnology and its societal and environmental impact.

The conference was visited by a delegation from Eudoxa. At their stand at the conference Anders Sandberg and Waldemar Ingdahl exhibited their poster Nanotechnology and Health Policy with an executive summary on the topic of how nanotechnology will change health care in the future and what policy the EU should adopt.
