The future of humanity at Toronto University
On August 7th the conference TransVision 2004 was held at The University of Toronto, Canada. Organizers were The World Transhumanist Association and The McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology.
Anders Sandberg was invited as one of the speakers, and held a conference speech on transformative technology, Patient Culture and Health Policy.
Other key note speaker included:
- Aubrey de Gray, biogerontologist at Cambridge University
- Steve Mann, computer scienctist at the University of Toronto
- Robin Hanson, economist at George Mason University
- Ph.D Nick Boström, philosopher at Oxford University
