Turning a blind eye on the tougher problems
In his The Pulse article A Strike for the Status Quo of September 21th, Anders Sandberg examines the UK government's answer to the House of Commons Health Select Committee. Instead of addressing issues like ties between regulators and the industry, lack of reporting of side effects and a general lack of transparency the government chose to focus on the evils of advertising.
