Research needs better ideas than the EIT
In his TCS Daily Europe article Europe's MIT? of March 31st, Waldemar Ingdahl critizes the plans for establishing a new European Institute of Technology.
What European research needs now is not new institutions but new priorities, and instead of centralization they need independence.
