In his The Pulse article Identity Medicine of January 19th, Anders Sandberg writes about professor Aziz Sheikh's argument for more accommodations for islamic religious needs such as circumcision, same-sex doctors and the avoidance of porcine and alcohol-derived drugs. Sandberg argues that the problem is neither prejudice nor Islam, but monopoly.
