Tackling counterfeit drugs
In his The Pulse article Zapping the Fly in the Ointment of January 31st, Anders Sandberg tackles the problem of counterfeit drugs. Estimates suggest that between 10-50% of drugs worldwide are fake. Can counterfeinting be reduced by regulations? Is technology be the solution through the application of RFID tags?
