Mashed up medicine

In his The Pulse article Do the Medical Mash of May 30th, Anders Sandberg explains how Web 2.0 is affecting medicine.

The main idea of Web 2.0 is taking data from different sites and presenting them together- displaying news stories on maps, finding amateur photos that fit their keywords, linking them to the Wikipedia and so on. The introduction of the first 4D human atlas by the University of Calgary, CAVEman, shows many new innovations are around the corner.
