Transparency builds trust

In his The Pulse article From Serial Murder to Trust and Transparency of June 6th, Anders Sandberg writes about the interesting developments that followed in the NHS after the serial murderer Harold Shipman.

Harold Shipman was a British general practitioner who was one of the most prolific known serial killers in modern history. As a way of rebuilding trust an Internet service was built where patients can log in to see their records, scans and possibly even contribute information of their own.
