Attack of the clones
In his The Pulse article of November 16th, Throwing Out the Baby with the Test-Tube Anders Sandberg writes about a new policy study by the United Nations University's Institute of Advanced Studies regarding human cloning.
Sandberg warns of the risks of another moral panic regarding cloning. The various ethical, religious and emotional reasons for wanting to ban cloning that are impossible to agree on (regardless of actual validity) are driving the discussion far more than the one thing everybody can agree on, that children should not be harmed.
