A testament to intellectual integrity
In his The Pulse article of February 14th, Changing Hearts and Minds Anders Sandberg writes about the debate over the cost of recently developed cancer drugs (such as Herceptin).
When these drugs were introduced they were heavily criticised. These opinions are now changing, as more patients can be treated in a better way, and new groups are also found that respond to treatment – bringing up drug costs but also helping people.
