Mixing sex and health with money
Anders Sandberg writes in Practical Ethics.
In the article Reverse Prostitution: cognitive biases and conditional cash transfers Sandberg comments on a new strategy for fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa. People are payed for not contracting sexually transmitted infections.
Sandberg notes that conditional cash transfer programs in developing countries have had successes in improving health and education but applying it to sexual health moves it into more controversial territory.
