The ecclesiastical gaydar

Anders Sandberg asks in Practical Ethics about Ecclesiastical gaydar: should churches be allowed to discriminate priests? In a free society there are instances where it is often within the rights of various institutions to discriminate. That doesn't mean they are right to do it, or that we should keep silent about it, writes Sandberg. There is another reason to suspect that the ecclesiastical gaydar is wrong: it might simply be unfair and inaccurate.
