1999 was our 1968

In the year 1999 the Extro-4 conference was held at the Joseph Wood Crutch Theater on the Clark Kerr Campus, University of California, Berkeley.

Anders Sandberg was interviewed in a series of five films on what developments have been seen since. What differences can be seen in society? Was the dotcom boom just a bubble or is our society being influenced by a new worldview? Are neuroscience and informational technologies changing humanity in ever more radical ways? Are new models of social thought, as strong as those from revolts in 1968 arising from the development of new technologies?
