The Pirate Code on Trial
In the 2010 International Property Rights Index a series of case studies is included. Waldemar Ingdahl writes about The Pirate Code on Trial- what future for intellectual property? on how the Swedish example shows that trials and crackdowns will become less effective in protecting copyright from technical and political pirates. The debate is turning from legislation into a discussion of the ethical value of property in the digital age.
