The computer at your fingertip
Computer operated by hand gestures have discussed for a long time. Finally it seems as the University of Buffalo has solved the problem with the Fingertip Digitizer.
One of the problems for information technology is that, although we have seen massive development, we have so far seen not as much progress in user friendly-ness. Many systems are still counter-intuitive (a special shout out is deserved to Microsoft's fine products in this respect), and I think it has held back much user adoption. Now we are seeing those important developments coming through, further increasing the reach of information technology into everyday life.
